Who are the Custom Cooler Bros.?
Blair and Kyle Cunningham – bros. since ’91 – started as Cottage Coolers in 2012. It was clear from the start that Canadians like personal coolers!
Blair has been entrepreneurial since birth with ventures including Blair’s Snow and Mow and Returns ‘R Us, the latter earning him an award from the Mayor of Whitby. An alumni of the McMaster commerce program, Blair spends his days selling quality logo’d promotional goods and apparel at LogoWerkz, and likely eating pizza. He came up with the idea to push the specialty coolers to individuals.
Kyle took an academic approach, and studied entrepreneurship and successful business people (spoiler: we have what it takes) as part of his Master studies at Queen’s U and the Uni of Mannheim in Germany. 9 to 5 you can find him repping top brands into Canada’s premium and incentive industry at Somcan Marketing & Sales.
The Custom Cooler Bros. recognized Coleman's quality at an early age.
Kyle met Armin – now bro #3 – while studying international business in Kingston, ON, back in 2010. Four years later Armin joined the bro’hood to re-brand and re-launch. Currently residing in Berlin, Armin is entrepreneurial by nature, running numerous start-ups, most recently Kancha and its ethically-sourced lifestyle accessories http://kancha.de/en/. He dreams of finding a Canadian citizenship under his double-double Roll Up The Rim and moving back to Canada for good.
Yes it’s a CANADA scarf. Armin’s favourite.
Philipp is the technical genius among the bros. Joining the team in 2014 he made the relaunch happen by building the entirely new website from the ground up. How cool is that!
